Press release: On 6 October 2014, His Excellency Mr. Abdelilah El Housni, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Thailand paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Mr. Don Pramudvinai, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On this occasion, both sides noted with satisfaction the deepened friendship and relations between the two Kingdoms and Royal Families since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1985. The Ambassador of Morocco reaffirmed his Government's readiness to further enhance cooperative ties between the two countries, especially as both sides prepare to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2015.
They were also pleased with the upcoming Thai - Moroccan Political Consultations to be held in the last week of October 2014, which will be co-chaired by both Permanent Secretaries of Foreign Affairs.Other topics discussed included the ways to further advance bilateral engagement and cooperation by increasing high-level exchanges, promoting economic and trade cooperation, and collaborating with each other at the multilateral level, especially at the United Nations.
