Paris: "The emancipation of islam in France" (Study)

The French think tank Terra Nova (liberal), released on February 22, 2017, a study on "The Emancipation of Islam in France". The Think Tank proposes a less centralized representation of Islam in France and the establishment of two national  holidays, a Muslim and a Jew one instead of the Easter and Pentecost Mondays.

Entitled "The emancipation of Islam in/of France", Terra Nova's study tries to show the limits of the representation of the second French religion in the French Council of the Muslim cult (CFCM). The authors explain that   "this attempt of centralization has been counterproductive because the representation of Islam in France is wrongly treated » because of the great role that  foreign states play to  retain control.

According to the study "a national structure that represents the Muslim religion remains necessary, to dialogue with the French authorities ».
