Sarah El Hairy (31) a French politician from Moroccan origin, has been nominated, sunday 26 July 2020, secretary of state in charge of Youth and Engagement in the new French government.
Elected in the department of Loire Atlantique for the MoDem the presidential political party, Ms El Hairy has been a member of the French National Assembly since June 2017.
The young woman born in France, attended school in the city of Metz and graduated from Lyautey high school in Casablanca. Back in France, she studied law in the university of Nantes. She then spent some years in Canada where she became a sales executive.
