The Research Laboratory in the Moroccan-Mediterranean Cultural Relations, organize in collaboration with the University Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah Fes-and with the support of the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME), an international symposium on the theme "North African workers and national and political action during the two world Wars, scheduled on December,9 and 10 in Taza.
This symposium addresses two main areas of research: "the legal situation of North African workers abroad during the two world wars" and "The political progress of the North African working class and its contribution to national action."
Participants at the meeting will also discuss topics related to «The circumstances of emigration of North African workers to Europe" and "The all-rounded colonial mechanisms that served the interests of the metropolis."
