The CCME receives representatives of several Ivorian ministries

The Ivorian delegation includes representatives from a number of Ivorian ministries that operate on the immigration issue who came on a working visit on Tuesday, May 19, to the council of the Moroccan community abroad (CCME).

The visit of the Ivorian delegation expected to hold meetings with a number of Moroccan institutions, within the framework of the program Mieux, a joint initiative of the European Union and the International Center for Migration Policy Development, aims to strengthen the experience of the countries involved in all migration-related areas and to foster an exchange of their know-how.

In their meeting with officials from the CCME, the Ivorian delegation had the opportunity to learn about the dynamic that accompanied the process of establishing the Council, and the work it does as the national consulting body dealing, with issues affecting the Moroccan Diaspora in a forward- thinking way, while evaluating related public policies.ALL ASLS 70

The Ivorian delegation included in particular representatives of the Ministry of African integration and Ivorians abroad, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Employment and Social Affairs, as well as the Ministries of Interior and Economy and Finance.

It is noteworthy that the Ivorian capital, Abidjan recently hosted a forum for the Ivorian community abroad, the first forum of its kind in Ivory Coast, aiming to identify the problems faced by Ivorians expatriates abroad in order to develop a national policy for the management of this migration and promote their involvement in the economic and social development in their country of origin.
