The Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) hosted this Tuesday, May 26 at the Council headquarters, the Franco-Moroccan Circle Eugène Delacroix.

Mr. Abdellah Boussouf, General Secretary of CCME reiterated during the meeting that the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad is ready to support the Mps of the Circle Eugène Delacroix by providing the “necessary working tools."

For his part, Mr. Salah Bourdi, president of the Circle Eugène Delacroix, said he was "very happy and proud of the outcome of this mission," adding that "in view of this meeting, we only confirm that the friendship and the Franco-Moroccan cooperation is exceptional. "

"On this mission in Morocco we realized the innumerable actions undertaken by Morocco for the living together and tolerance and believe, as was often said by Mr. Boussouf, that secularism is a chance for France and a chance for Islam, "he said.

"We were received this morning by the Mohammed VI Training Institute of Imams and preachers and learned about the resources used for the training of hundreds of people who will go to work in the French suburbs to promote peace and tolerance, "said Salah Bourdi. “We return to France full of energy and determination," he added.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Boussouf said that "Islam is not incompatible with democracy and secularism and the Moroccans abroad can only be a vehicle for peace, tolerance and prosperity and we have the means of getting there by a French-Moroccan qualitative cooperation”
