Monday, 19 October 2015

The Council for Moroccans Abroad (CCME) and the High Institute of Information and Communication (ISIC) signed on Friday October 16th, a partnership and cooperation agreement to develop scientific research on migration, include topics about Moroccan migration in the training curricula of journalists, and create a Master’s degree on migration at the Institute.

The signature of the agreement was made between Mr. Abdallah BOUSSOUF, the Secretary General of the CCME, and Mr. Abdelmajid FADEL, the Director of ISIC.

In this framework, Mr. Abdallah BOUSSOUF said that through the signature of the partnership agreement with ISIC “we contribute in making the Moroccans abroad present in journalists’ training curricula”. This will make them feel the interest of the media in their concerns and issues.

Mr. Abdelmajid FADEL lauded this initiative. He stressed that the partnership agreement between the two parties is an expression of the endeavor and the common will towards the benefit of journalism, journalists and Moroccans abroad, and towards the development of public debate on migration.
