In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the Green March, a group of young Moroccans of the world is preparing a painting, which will be offered to Agadir city on Friday 6th of November 2015.
Five young Belgians of Moroccan origin, sponsored by the painter Moustapha Zoufri, will paint a canvas entitled "Land of the Free" (منبت الأحرار), in reference to the national anthem of the Kingdom of Morocco.
On the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the Green March, this work of art will be commensurably presented in the exhibition held in partnership with the Council for the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME). Eleven painters, representing Morocco, Belgium, Egypt, Iraq, Iran and Tunisia will participate in the exhibition held at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce of Agadir, starting from November 5th, 2015. The works will subsequently be exhibited in several Moroccan cities and abroad.
This initiative attests the commitment of young Moroccans ofthe world to their home country and their desire to be involved in major causes of the country by strengthening ties with their counterparts living in Morocco.
