Books: Singular migration journeys

The second meeting of the day, reviewed three books published by the CCME: "course of the Moroccans of the Gulf countries", "course of the Moroccans of the Netherlands" produced by the digital Newspaper Hespress and "memory of suitcases" written by Ms Rachida El Ansari Zaki.

Mr Tarek El Atifi, said « the portraits we made showed the the new realities of Moroccan immigration ». He explained thet « the portrays were taken in 3 Gulf countries, namely the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman and Bahrain. They complete a series of 120 portrays of Moroccans lving aboad made in Spain, Italy and the Netherlands and are the result of a successful partnership with the CCME. 

Ms Rachida El Ansari, soke for her part about her choice of writing in  Arabic , which represents my commitment  tomy origins.

"Memory of suitcases" brings together the "traces of my past ». She explains that the choice of the title was difficult because it had to summarize 40 years of life and 4 years of writing: "I thought a lot before realizing that living elsewhere is like seeing a suitcase of memories and experiences in front of you a suitcase memories ».
