CCME Publications : Litterature: Exile, a source of inspiration

The last meeting of Wednesday, gathered the authors of "The wind starts blowing, death in exile" by Abdelhamid El Bayouki (Spain) and "Prayers on high seas, memories of an illegal migrant" by Mohamed Doublali (Italy) . The round table was moderated by Mr Hamid Bichri( CCME) moderated and attended by Professor Mohamed Mokhtari (United Arab Emirates).

The author of the novel «The wind starts blowing, death in exile », Mr Abdelhamid Bayouki talked about his book which is : » the story of a migrant leaving his country, Nigeria, to join Europe.

"This story completes a trilogy of stories about exile," says the author who infuses his personal experience and his vision on difference, integration and racism and migration laws. "

Mr Mohamed Doublali's  autobiography tells the story of a Moroccan irregular migrant, who dreamt of Europe ».

Mr Mohamed Mokhtari, who translated Mr Doublali's book "Prayers on high sea, memories of an illegal  migrant" from Italian to Arabic, said he was content, "bringing the Moroccan reader closer to the harsh experience of immigration".
