The CCME organizes a giant dictation and a broadcast to celebrate multilingualism and cultural diversity

The Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) will organize a giant dictation and a broadcast to celebrate multilingualism and cultural diversity on 18 December 2020 at 6:30 pm on the occasion of the International Day of the Arabic Language.

The CCME and it's web TV (Awacer TV), the author Rachid Santaki, in partnership with the French Institutes in Morocco, the Faculty of Letters and Humanities in Rabat and Editions Yomade will be holding a live broadcast on Friday 18 December at 6.30 pm. The topic is: "When languages combine with the Arabic language to bring peoples together" a Giant Dictation by Rachid Santaki around an original text by linguist Jean Pruvost, author of the book "Our ancestors the Arabs, what our language owes them", indicates a press release from the Council.

The organizers of this event and Rachid Santaki, world record holder for the largest dictation in the world (Stade de France, Saint-Denis), intend to bring a message of living and working together, of coexistence and dialogue, points out the press release.

A series of debate shows for Moroccans living abroad will highlight the programming of CCME's Awacer TV on Thursday 17 and Monday 21 December 2020.

The programming will also be focusing on the rights and interests of Moroccans living abroad, principally unprotected people, on the contribution of the Moroccan community in the scientific, cultural, social and economic fields in both the countries of residence and the country of origin, on young people and on the main issues and challenges related to current events, concludes the press release.
