Mr. Boussouf, said that the Council is attentive to Moroccans abroad and is open to collaborative approaches. The Secretary General referred to the profound changes that Moroccans abroad are experiencing as well as the anchorage and the establishment of Moroccan skills in Quebec.

Mr. Alain Olivier essentially raised religious and cultural issues. To which Mr. Boussouf replied that it was crucial for Morocco to implement a cultural agency in charge of the coordination of the Moroccan cultural offering abroad, like the French Institute, the Cervantes Spanish Institute and the German Goethe Institute. Moreover, regarding the religious issue, the Secretary General of the Council evoked the different consultations and the activities implemented by the CCME in support of the Moroccans of the World, regardless of their religion or country of residency.

Mr. Olivier praised the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad for its work and agreed with him, pointing out that "the issue of living together" is based on intercultural dialogue.
