The Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) organizes in partnership with the civil society networks of Boujdour and the Great South, from November 18 to December 18, 2018, an exhibition and workshops dedicated to the book produced by the CCME: "Moroccans, Migrants and Travelers".

The conference program of the meeting on "Moroccan Judaism: for a Moroccan sharing" held from 12 to 18 November 2018 in Marrakech fialized its conference on Thursday, November 15.

During the closing session of the conference program of the meeting on "Moroccan Judaism: for a shared Moroccanity", a synthesis report and recommendations were read by Dr. Willian Déry, Former President of the Sephardic Community of Quebec and founding member of the World Assembly of Moroccan Judaism.

The conference "Morocco in the world: challenges and perspectives" led by Professor Simon Serfaty is the focal point of the Marrakech meeting. Professor of American Foreign Policy at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, and Emeritus Professor of Zosigniew Brzezinski in Geostrategy at the Center for Strategic Studies and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, he answers questions from journalist and host Hanane Harrath.

The second session of Thursday, November 15, 2018 was dedicated to the offering of 15 personal projects by the guests at the meeting.

The  first round table of Thursday 15 november 2018 dealt on the theme"Youth Sequence: Side by Side, face to face, together and separately, how to build the future?.  Ms. Zhor Rehihil, conservator of the Museum of Moroccan Judaism, Mr. Ariel Danan, historian, Mr. El Mehdi Boudra, founding member of the Mimouna Association, Mr. Kamal Hachkar , historian and filmmaker, and Mr. Maxime Karoutchi, artist and community actor participated to the round table moderated by Mr. A. Aziz Rifki, Project Manager at the CCME. 

"Perceptions and images of the Jew in literary, cinema and media production in Morocco" is the title of the last session scheduled this Wednesday, November 14, 2018 as part of the meeting on "Moroccan Judaism: a shared Moroccanity".

A documentary on Jewish-Muslim relations in Morocco, entitled "Jewish Moroccans thwarted destiny" was screened and followed by a discussion led by Mr.Yehuda Lancry, diplomat and writer, Mr. Younes LAGHRARI, producer and director, Mr. Faouzi Skali and anthropologist. The debate was  moderated by Sonia Sarah Lipsyc, sociologist and director of the Center for Contemporary Jewish Studies of the Unified Sephardic Community of Quebec.

The writing of history of the Jews of Morocco

On the agenda of this first day of the conference on "Moroccan Judaism: for a" shared "Moroccan", placed under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, a second session was held under the theme "the writing of the history of the Jews of Morocco "with the participation of Mr. Jamaâ Baida, Historian, Director of the Archives of Morocco and Mr. Michel Abitbol, Historian and specialist of Judo-Muslim relations, with the moderation of Mr. Salomon Malka, writer and journalist.

 The conference on "Moroccan Judaism: for a shared Moroccanity" started on Wednesday, October 14, 2018 in Marrakech, with a plenary session attended by several dignitaries from Morocco and abroad.
