London: The CCME at the House of Lords

In partnership with Al-Hasaniya Moroccan women centre, the CCME held a prestigious

event titled the dialogue of friendship, at the heart of British democracy, the House of Lords on the 6th September 2017.

Souad Talsi MBE, founder of the the only UK Moroccan women centre which has now been bestowed with the esteemed special consultative status with the UN, organised this memorable event with Baroness Falkner of Margravine.

The occasion was to remember those who perished on the night of the tragic Grenfell fire and indeed to cement the cultural heritage our nation holds and that is of friendship, co-existence and harmonious living.

Peers from the House of Lords, MPs and representatives of various diplomatic missions in the UK attended this special occasion, including embassy of Germany, Netherlands, Canada, Kuwait, UAE and indeed Denmark.

In her conclusion speech Souad Talsi MBE stressed on social justice and education if we are to achieve civic responsibility and rights.

The Aghbal Association for Development and Solidarity (ADS) organized on August 3, 2017, in collaboration with the Dialogue Association in the Netherlands, the Council of the Moroccan Community Living Abroad (CCME) and the Canton of Midar, at the multidisciplinary complex of the city, the second meeting of Aghbal under the theme "the Rif at the heart of migration".

The opening of a photo exhibition of Leila Alaoui, who tragically disappeared in a terror attack in Ouagadougou,  took place on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at the boarding area of ​​Port "Tanger Med Passagers" on the initiative of the Tangier Med Foundation and the Council of the Moroccan Community Living Abroad (CCME).

The Council of the Moroccan Community living Abroad (CCME) received on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 28 leaders of associations of African diasporas of Europe and Morocco to organize the forum of the youth of African diasporas from "Here and elsewhere" to be held from Friday 29 September to Sunday 1 October 2017.

The Moroccan Jewish community of the United Kingdom celebrated for the first time, on July 6th 2017,  the Mimouna, symbol of the coexistence between Jews and Muslims in Morocco.

With the support of the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME), the Regional Council of the Adouls Court of Appeal of Agadir a meeting will be held, from 6 to 9 July 2017 in the city of Agadir on international experiences and migrant issues.

During a meeting at the the Council of the Moroccan Community Living Abroad (CCME), Mr. Abdellah Boussouf and Mr.Jamal Mikou of the Executive Board of the Tanger Med Foundation, took the decision to exhibit from 8 July to 1 September 2017 "On te pathway of Leila Alaoui " in the harbor of Tanger Med.

Morocco will be the "guest star" at the 3rd edition of the French festival "Des livres, des étoiles", a cultural event, held from 23 to 25 June in the mediterranean city of Marseille which will bring 25 French celebrities together who have published a book in "the current year ».
