The prime minister, Mr Saad Eddine el Othman, opened the 25th edition of the Internatioal book fair ( SIEL) the 7th February 2019, held in Casablanca under the High Patronage of His Majesty the King Mohammed VI.

The CCME inaugurates its participation in this 25th edition of the International Book and Publishing Fair with the "Agora's Meetings".

This inaugural meeting, whose topic is: "Moroccan culture beyond borders: realities and challenges", will try to understand the foreign cultural actor's view on the Moroccan culture in some countries of residence, through an institutional debate on the reality and prospects of Moroccan culture beyond borders. The attendants will try to examine how to develop the cultural production of the Moroccans living abroad, and strengthen Morocco's receptiveness to their cultural productions.

The round table will bring together Mr. Abdellah Boussouf (Secretary General of CCME), Mr Mohamed El Araj (Moroccan Minister of Culture and Communication) and Mr Pedro Martinez Avial (Director General of Casa Arabe in Madrid) will be moderated by Mr.Mustapha El Mourabit (CCME)

The second meeting of the day entitled "Pathways" will deal with the topic « success stories of Moroccans around the world » and analyze some unique experiences achieved in the countries where they live. 

The roundtable brings together Ms. Hanane Benkhallouk, Mr. Paul Dahan, Mr Noureddine Fatty, Mr Rachid Hanbali and will be moderated by Ms. Ghita Zine.

A meeting with a Beligian Delegation was held at the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME), wednesday, February 6, 2019. The group was led by Mr. Rudi Vervoort, Minister President of the Brussels-Capital Region.

The Council of the Moroccan Community living Abroad (CCME) takes part to the 25th edition of the Casablanca, International Book Fair (SIEL), from February 8 to 17, 2019. "The Moroccan culture beyond borders"is the theme chosen by the council for this edition. 

The Council of the Moroccan Community living Abroad (CCME) conceives the teaching game « Islam in us » (in French and English) with the purspose to help the young generations of moroccan muslim migrants living abroad,  learn the values of authentic Islam, based on the Moroccan heritage defined by tolerance and respect ".

The meeting conducted around  the book "The state, role and place of Moroccans  lliving abroad in the region of Souss-Massa" took place on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in Agadir. The Conference is organized by the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME), in partnership with the laboratories LARLANCO and LRMECSS of the Faculty of Humanities and Letters of the University Ibn Zohr of Agadir.

The Council of the Moroccan community living abroad organizes, in partnership with the laboratories LARLANCO and LRMECSS of the Faculty of humanities at the University Ibn Zohr of Agadir, a scientific conference on "the State and the rights of the Moroccans living abroad in Souss-Massa region", Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 9:30, at the conference hall of the Prefecture of Agadir Ida-Outanane.

The photography exhibition " Morocco, in an instant" organized by Casa Arabe and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AECID) in Madrid, from June 7 to September 23, 2018 , will take place in Sevilla from November 28, 2018 to January 21, 2019.

The opening of the 13th edition of the World Sufi Meeting began on November 17, 2018 in Madagh (province of Berkane- eastern Morocco), under the theme "Sufi Culture and the Universal Common: For the Values of Dialogue and Compromise" .

The Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) organizes in partnership with the civil society networks of Boujdour and the Great South, from November 18 to December 18, 2018, an exhibition and workshops dedicated to the book produced by the CCME: "Moroccans, Migrants and Travelers".
