We learned with much sadness the passing -Sunday, September 27, 2020 – of Mr Hamid Bichri’s mother. Mr. Bichri is a member of the “citizenship and political participation” working group within the Council of the Moroccan Community -living- Abroad (CCME).

Mr Abdellah Boussouf, the Secretary General of the Council of the Moroccan community -living- abroad (CCME) pressed for the establishment of a national agency dedicated to qualified Moroccans living abroad, during the National Migrant Day celebrated every 10thAugust.
Sarah El Hairy (31) a French politician from Moroccan origin, has been nominated, sunday 26 July 2020, secretary of state in charge of Youth and Engagement in the new French government.
Ilham El Khallouki (18) succeeded in obtaining her degree with the maximum “average” (20.20) in France. She lives in the neighborhood of Paris. The young woman, born in the Moroccan city of Sefrou and grew up in France with her mother. She got her diploma at the European high school in Villers-Cotterêts.
The Council of the Moroccan Community -living- abroad (CCME) has published in partnership with the French survey Institute IPSOS a study on discrimination against Europeans of Moroccan origin.The survey which will be released gathered a sample of 1 433 Moroccans of 18 to 35 years old living in European countries where Europeans of Moroccan origin live essentially in France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. The questions put to the participants focused on their daily life, their living conditions such as access to work, to housing and their religious freedom.One of the major findings of the study is…
The Council of the Moroccan community living abroad (CCME) gave a tribute during an evening organized, saturday 15 february 2020, to the attendees and some personalities which have impressed during the CCME’s programming of the 26 th edition of the Casablanca Book Fair.
Mr Simon Serfaty, Professor and expert on international relations closed the meetings of the 26th edition of the Casablaca book fair of the CCME, with the theme : « The invisible link : perception and Morocco’s image on the geostrategic arena, vision and perception ». Mr Daniel Amar, member of the CCME in Canada asked the questions.

The “literary hour”, of Friday February 14, 2020, was dedicated to two books written by two Moroccan-italian writers. Mrs Chaimaa Fatihi, author of the book “You will never reach us: open letter from an Italian Muslim woman to the terrorists” (published in Italian) and Mr Mohamed Doublali, for his book “Journey into the Gardens of Hell” (published in Arabic). The exchanges were moderated by MrnHamid Bichri, CCME member living in Italy.
