The Council of the Moroccan community living abroad ( CCME) organised on Tuesday 11 february 2020, a meeting on the book : « From Tetouan to Buenos Aires: the saga of the jewish-moroccans to Latin America” written by the diplomat and researcher Zakaria Balga in Spanish and published by the CCME (2020) . The writer answered to the questions of Mr Jaouad Achakouri, from the CCME.

The Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) organized, Monday, February 10, 2020 a meeting where the book “Morocco in Swiss and German eyes” by Mr Redouane Daoui, published in 2020 by the Council.

Mr. Abdellah Boussouf, Secretary General of the CCME, Saturday 8 February the Spanish version of his book “A citizen monarchy in the land of Islam: how Mohammed VI designed a universal religious model ”. Translated by Ms. Kenza El Ghali, Ambassador of Morocco in Chile and Ms. Hasna Zenboury. Me Boussouf’s book was published by the Mohammed VI Cultural Center for the Dialogue of Civilizations in Chile of the Ministry of Culture at the Casablanca Book Fair.

Sunday, February 9, 2020 the CCME organized the presentation of the book “Jewish music in Morocco” produced by Mr. Ahmed Aydoun and published by Marsam editions with the CCME support. The meeting gathered M.Ahmed Aydoun, Professor of economics, laureate of the Rabat conservatory and researcher in musical art, Mrs Susanne Harroch and Mr Maxime Karoutchi,. This sound able was table moderated by Zhour Rehihil, conservator of the Museum of Moroccan Judaism.

The “Image of Morocco on the American continent: influence, representations and analyzes” is the theme of the round table held on Saturday February 8, 2020. The meeting gathered Mrs Amal Oummih (USA), lawyer at the New York bar and former diplomat, Messrs Monsef Derraji (Canada), MP for Quebec, Marouane El Mahibba (Spain), Big Data and Data Mining expert, , Issam Lotfi (Morocco), a researcher at the Royal Institute for Strategic Studies (IRES) and Mohamed-Ali Adraoui (England), doctor of Sciences Po Paris and researcher in international relations. The round table was moderated by Mrs Najat Azmy, member of the CCME.

The inaugural meeting on The “image of Morocco beyond borders: realities and representations”, gathered Mr Abdelllah Boussouf, Secretary General of the CCME and Jean-Pierre Chevènement, French politician and former president of the foundation for islam of France. This meeting was moderated by the French-Moroccan journalist Ouadih Dada.

Saturday February 8, 2020, Mr. Samir Bouzouita, Dean of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences Saïs in Fez, presented two of his works published by the CCME: “Moroccan-Austrian-Hungarian relations: shared history and memory “and “Moroccan-Swedish-Norwegian relations: shared history and memory “.

Au programme de ce dimanche 9 février 2020, la matinée jeunesse, avec l’atelier « Education et cultures » : L’arganier à palabres, autour du livre « Désir de raconter l’histoire fabuleuse du migrant », avec Aimée Lokake, Youssef Haji, Franck Iyanga Makelo.En début d’après-midi, deux ouvrages seront présentés : « La musique juive du Maroc », avec l’intervention notamment de trois participants : Mme Suzanne Harroch et MM.
