The Council of the Moroccan Community living Abroad (CCME) hosted Thursday, July 19, 2018, in Rabat, a meeting with a delegation of political and religious leaders of the French city of Saint-Etienne. The group was headed by the Mayor of the city, Mr. Gael Perdriau who carries out a project of a Muslim Cultural center in Saint-Etienne.

The Council of the Moroccan Community living Abroad (CCME) participated in the Annual Meeting of the United Nations Academic Council (ACUNS) on “Migration, Human Rights and Global Governance”, from 12 to 14 July 2018, organized in partnership with LUISS Guido Carli University, in the city of Rome. 

A tribute was paid to Hakim Ashraf, international moroccan football player as well as player for the Spanish club Real Madrid, July 9, 2018 in the northen city of Tetouan at the end of the Days of the football training campus. 

Mr. Mohammed Chaib, a member of the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE), was sworn in Madrid on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, becoming the first Spanish deputy of Moroccan origin.

The Council of the Moroccan Community living Abroad (CCME) takes part to the exhibition ” Morocco, in an instant” organized by Casa Arabe and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (AECID) in Madrid, from June 7 to September 23, 2018, at the foundation. The Council’s purpose is to strengthen the artistic creation of Moroccans living abroad and bolster the Moroccan culture in international events. 

The Council of the Moroccan Community living Abroad (CCME) and the editions “Diwan”, in partnership with the Cultural Association for Development and Cooperation “Xenia”, organized on Friday, May 25, 2018, a Moroccan-Spanish conference on ” the weight of literature in the cultural harmony between Morocco and Spain”, at the library Eugenio Trías at the Retiro Park in the Spanish capital.

The Council of the Moroccan Community living Abroad (CCME) and the “Diwan” editions, in partnership with the cultural Association for Development Cooperation “Xenia”, organize on Friday, May 25, 2018, a Moroccan-Spanish conference on ” the weight of literature in the cultural harmony between Morocco and Spain “at the Eugenio Trías library during the Madrid Book Fair.

The Faculty of Law, Economic and Social Sciences in Rabat hosted a meeting organized in partnership with the Council of the Moroccan Community living Abroad (CCME) around the book :”The Legal Condition of Moroccans living abroad “, recently published by the CCME.

The Faculty of Law, Economic and Social Sciences of the University Mohammed V in Rabat and the Council of the Moroccan Community living Abroad (CCME) are organizing, Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 15 am, within the university, the presentation of the book “The Legal Status of Moroccans Living Abroad”realized by the Council.

The Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) received, Friday, April 27, 2018, a delegation of young Moroccan skills from Belgium.
