The Kingdom of Morocco commemorates this 18 november 2016,  the Revolution of the King and the People, the day Morocco gained its independence from France in 1956.

African Heads of State, convened on Wednesday in Marrakech, entrusted HM King Mohammed VI with the implementation of the Declaration of the first Africa Action Summit in favor of a continental co-emergence.

HM King Mohammed VI gave, on Wednesday 16 november 2016, a speech at the opening of the “Africa Action Summit”, held in Marrakesh on the sidelines of the 22nd Conference of Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP22).

Marrakech   – HM king Mohammed VI addressed, on Tuesday 15 november 2016 in Marrakech, a speech on the high-level segment of the 22nd Conference of the Parties (COP 22) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

The Ibn Zohr University of Agadir, hosts since wednesday, 16 November 2016, conferences and debates on the migration issue, essentially from Africa. Several Moroccan and foreign experts take part to the encounter.

His Majesty King Mohammed VI accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, arrived on Tuesday 15 november 2016,  at Bab Ighli, the location which houses the works of the 22nd Conference of the Parties To the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP22).

The Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) organized Thursday 17 November 2016 at the COP22 Green Zone, an Innovation space dedicated to firms and Civil Society, a demonstration of the Project “Light us”.

The International Cinema and Migration Festival,  with the Ivory Coast as guest Honor for its 13th edition has been lauched yesterday 14 october 2016 under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, with the partnership of the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) and the association “Cultural Initiative. The festival will close it’s doors on 19 november.

Al-Hassanya Moroccan Women’s Center in the UK  co-founded by Mrs Talsi, member of the Council of the Moroccan Communitity living Abroad (CCME)  in the UK, brought an abducted child back to his grieving mother from Great Britain to Morocco end of last week.

The Agadir International Film and Migration Festival, organized in partnership with the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) and the association “Cultural Initiative” begins this Tuesday, October 15, 2016 in the Souss capital.
