Mina Rhouch (Spain), Najat Azmy (France)

Ms. Mina Rhouch

She was born in Kenitra, Morocco and has lived in the Spanish city of Sevilla for 26 years. She is a founding member and President of the CIMME Foundation (International Medical Center for Migrants and Foreigners). She is a trained doctor and community activist in the fields of health, migration and mobility as well as gender and development. Mina Rhouch is also a member of the CCME Working Group “Gender and New Generation Approaches”.

Ms. Najat Azmy

French politician, member of the National Council for Diversity and the 21st Century Club. Since 2011, she has been Deputy Secretary General of Cercle Jefferson, and she has been a Senior Advisor at the Office of the Commissioner General for Equality of the Territories in Paris since 2015. She has also developed access to culture and media for people under the control of justice. She also participated in the manifestation of the Museum of Immigration History. In 2007, she was elected for Socialist Party (PS) in the 10th district of the North. In 2001, she was appointed to the city of Roubaix, assistant to education in charge of “Citizen Education”. She is also a member of the CCME.

Managing Cultural Diversity in Canada

Fayrouz Fawzi (Canada), Abdelkader Filali (Canada), Moulay Hicham Mouatadid (Canada)

Ms Fayrouz Fawzi

Doctor in Immigration Sociology and Immigration Law Consultant in Montreal, Canada. She was responsible for managing sponsorship files, asylum applications from emigrants in Canada. In addition, she is a Master Practitioner in Neurolinguistic Performance at the Laval International Coaching Institute in Canada. She has a master’s degree in teaching French as a foreign language. She is a professional researcher at the Chair of Immigration and Citizenship at Uqam. She is currently President of the Canadian Institute for Research and Documentation on Immigration and Interculturality. Author of several academic collective works: the feminine inheritance between past, tradition and passion, issues raised during the social conference on the adaptation of intervention practices to Maghrebi families in Quebec. The title of her latest book  is « Immigration Between Fiction and Reality, Canada as an Example.

Mr Abdelkader Filali

He has a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Ottawa (Canada) and a Master’s degree in Political Science from McMaster University in Hamilton (Canada) specializing in Southeast Asian countries and a Political Science degree from the University of Toronto, scholar in Latin American countries. He is the founder of the Ibn Rushd Center for Reflection at the University of Toronto for North African and Middle Eastern Studies and founder of the University of Ottawa Think Tan. Among His Writings “Canadian Multiculturalism and the Role of Communities in Creating an Effective Model “and” Security and Multiculturalism in Canadian Society “He received the University of Toronto’s Shock of Humanities Award in 2010.

Mr. Moulay Hicham Mouatatid

Political scientist, author and researcher in public and international political studies, doctoral student in contemporary religious studies at the University of Sherbrooke, laureate of the National School of Public Administration of Canada in International Public Administration, School of Applied Politics at Quebec in public and international policies, and Mohammed V University in Morocco in public international law. Author of several books, articles and scientific essays, notably on geopolitics and strategic issues. His latest book : “The UN Police in Crisis Management”.

The legal status of Moroccans living abroad

MM.Mohamed Benyahya (Morocco), Ahmed Bouachiq (Morocco)

Mr. Mohamed Benyahya

Professor at Mohammed V University in Rabat, is co-director of the Moroccan Journal of Local Administration and Development (REMALD). He is also a lecturer on “migrant and minority rights”. He obtained a Master’s degree in Human Rights at the Faculty of Law of Rabat-Agdal.

Mr. Ahmed Bouachiq

University professor in Morocco. He has a doctorate in public economic law from the University of Nice, France, he is now a professor at the Mohammed V University in Rabat but also a temporary professor in several higher institutions (ENA, ISA, ISCAE). In 2010, he was part of the Advisory Committee on Regionalization (CCR), set up by King Mohammed VI to propose a general conception of advanced regionalization.
