Introduction of Mr. Abdellah Boussouf’s works

Abdellah Boussouf (Secretary General of the CCME)

Historian Abdellah Boussouf has doctoral thesis (1991) on relations in the Mediterranean basin in the 13th century. President in 1993 of the Strasbourg Mosque Association. He is responsible for the construction of the Great Mosque of Strasbourg, the first place percieved from the beginning for the Muslim worship in this city. Expert of the European Commission of the Program “a soul for Europe” from 1997 to 2003. He chaired the training commission of the French Council of the Muslim Faith (CFCM) and was elected vice-president of the Council in 2005. In 2006, he joined the Institute of Islamic Studies in Brussels where he founded the Euro-Islamic Center for Culture and Dialogue, which he directs in Charleroi, Belgium. Abdellah Boussouf was appointed Secretary General of the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad in 2007. Position he holds until today. In 2017, he published the book “Islam and the universal common: tolerance, identity coexistence and religious cohabitation” in Arabic and French; the autobiographical book “Room No. 305: The Pains of the Second Birth” in  Arabic and French ​​and “Insights of the History of the Emirate of Nokour” published in Arabic.

Moroccan women and the challenge of living in a plural society

Nadia Yakine (Germany), Mounya Allali (Italy), Amal El Yahyaoui (Qatar), Bouchera Azzouz (France)

Ms Nadia Yakine

Writer and resident poet in Germany. Journalist and social worker responsible for « listening » centers for women, coaching young people to prepare them for the job market and workshops for the reintegration of prisoners of Maghrebi origin. She holds a BA in Arabic Literature from the Faculty of Arts of Mohammedia and an BA in Comparative Languages ​​from the University of Gütenberg in Germany. She also holds a Master’s degree in Electronic Media and a Diloma in the Documentary Film Industry from the Al Institute. Jazeera for the media. Nadia Yakine is also a researcher in the fields of women and migration and has conducted several research in the field of asylum. She is President of the Moroccan Council of the World.

Ms Mounya El Allali

Poet and writer lives in Italy. Counselor in the affairs of migration and political asylum. She graduated with a degree in European Islam from the University of Eastern Piedmont in Italy. She participates in several cultural meetings in Morocco and abroad. She publishes “The price of the revelation of my poetry” and “Let souls love what they desire”.

Ms Amal El Yahyaoui

Writer and visual artist resident in Qatar. She works for the General Pension and Social Insurance Authority (Qatar Government Pension Fund attached to the Ministry of Finance). Degree in English from Hassan II University of Casablanca and a degree in “communication and identity” from Ibn Zohr University in Agadir. She is Secretary-General of the Moroccan Council of the World and a member of the Qatari Center Choir of Musical Instruments and Arts.

Ms Bouchera Azzouz

Feminist activist, filmmaker and essayist from Bobigny. Bouchera Azzouz Knight of the National Order of Merit, Founding President of the Ateliers of Popular Feminism. She was in charge of the mission to the Minister of Families, Childhood and Women’s Rights, Laurence Rossignol. Through her writings, she questions the question of identity, as well as systemic struggles for equality and emancipation. Author of the documentary “Our mothers Nos Daronnes” she co-directs with Marion Stalens broadcast on France 2 Infrared in April 2015 and the documentary “we were called beurettes” broadcast in April 2018. In addition to documentaries, she co-wrote a book entitled “Women in Aid of the Republic”, in March 2015 and a second book “Daughter of Daronne and proud to be”, in May 2016. A new book is planned for June 2018 and titled “Républicaine de Souche”.

Mosque of Paris: Moroccan Work and World Heritage

Jillali El Adnani (Morocco), Mohammed Saad Zemmouri (Morocco)

Mr. Jilali El Adnani

Specialist in the history and religious anthropology of the Maghreb and West Africa. Doctor in History (University of Provence, France), Associate Researcher at IREMAM (Institute of Research and Studies on the Arab and Muslim World) of Aix-Marseille University in France. He focused his research on the cross-disciplinary disciplines of history, cultural anthropology, political sociology and political philosophy, on the interactions between identity, ethnicity, religion and power in Morocco and the Maghreb. in sub-Saharan Africa. Jillali El Adnani has published many articles and works, including La Tijaniyya, the origins of a Maghreb brotherhood in 2007; Regionalism, Islamism and Amazigh Identity: Translocation in the Souss region of Morocco in 2007; Saints in the Test of Power: History of Holiness and Anthropology of a Culture in 2008, or Maraboutism in 2010; in the CCME collection “Moroccans, Migrants and Travelers” in 2015 and “Mosque of Paris: Moroccan Work and World Heritage” in 2016.

Mohamed Saad Zemmouri

Professor of Higher Education (PES) at Abdelmalek Essaadi University in Tetouan, Morocco . He obtained a Doctorate of State in French Literature from the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences in Tetouan in 1997 and a Diploma of Higher Studies (DES) in Literature and French Civilization from the University of Provence in France in 1985. His research focuses on French-language Maghreb literature, French literature, History of ideas in France and comparative literature. He published a book titled Berber Presence and Pagan Nostalgia in French-speaking Maghreb Literature, in 2000.
