Oslo: Tribute to several members of the Moroccan community

A tribute was paid to several active members of the Moroccan community in Norway, during an event commemorating cultural diversity organized Sunday in Oslo.

During this cultural and artistic event initiated by "Mosaic", a Moroccan-Norwegian Friendship Association, emphasis was placed on the active role of these personalities in the cultural and educational fields for the purposes of rapprochement between the two cultures.

The organizers honoured Tore Gjerd, president of the Association "Cultures without frontiers",  Miloud Guiderk of the NGO "Cosmopolitan" and Arakia Yassin, a member of the Municipality of the Norwegian capital, recognized for their performance in educational and cultural spheres as well as in regard to the positive image they convey of immigrants.

According to the president of the "Mosaic" association, Abdelaali Abu Abdellah, this cultural event was organized in order to strenghten diversity by focusing on education, hailing the support from various Norwegian parties to ensure its success and promote diversity in Norway.
