Moroccan Cinema, star guest of the 10th edition of the Panorama of Maghreb cinemas and the Middle East of Saint-Denis

The 10th edition of Panorama festival cinemas Maghreb and the Middle East (PCMMO), which will run from March 31 to April 15 at Saint-Denis (Paris) and Paris will dedicate a focus on Moroccan cinema marked by the projection of several films.

The festival, organized by the Association of Glory Films, in partnership with the General Council of Seine-Saint-Denis and the Ile-de-France region, will hold a roundtable on "Dissemination of Southern film" with the participation of the Director of the Moroccan Cinematographic Centre (CCM), Salim Fassi Fihri, the President of the International Festival of auteur cinema in Rabat, Abdelhaq Mantrach and several filmmakers.

According to a statement from the organizers, this roundtable will shed light on "the model of CCM which allowed an undeniable growth of Moroccan cinema in the last fifteen years," just as it will examine ways to accompany the film industries of the South for wider distribution among the European public.

Moreover, this edition will showcase a large number of Moroccan films, such as "Adios Carmen" Mohamed Amin Benamraoui, "Le grand voyage" Ismail Ferroukhi "Horse of God" Nabil Ayouche, "Thousand Month "by Faouzi Bensaidi," Rock The Casbah "Laila Marrakchi and" On board "by Leila Kilani.

The objective of PCMMO is to allow the general public, film professionals and the press to discover a selection of innovative and unique film of the Maghreb and the Middle East and help the films presented, which are still too often invisible on the screens in France to find a distributor, say the organizers of this cultural event.
