Moroccan Cultural Week in Germany, an opportunity to promote cultural diversity

Moroccan cultural week in Germany, which will be held from April 20 to 26 in three German cities, i.e Berlin, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt is an opportunity to promote the cultural diversity of Morocco abroad and Germany in particular, said Tuesday in Casablanca, the minister responsible for Moroccans living abroad and migration affairs, Anis Birou.

He further revealed that this week, organized under the theme "For the promotion of cultural diversity", also aims to boost the Moroccan culture and its economic potential and to communicate about the political reforms undertaken by the Kingdom

Foreigners in general and Germans in particular will have the opportunity to know closely the history and ancient culture of Morocco, its geography, its people, its tourist capacities or economic potential, he noted.

This Moroccan week in Germany will also be a platform to promote and support dialogue relationships with members of the Moroccan community living in Germany, to strengthen the feeling of the Moroccan identity and promote the components of the rich Moroccan civilization in Germany. Hence, debates with associations representing the Moroccan community in Germany are scheduled

Organized by the Ministry of Moroccans living abroad and business migration in partnership with the Embassy of Morocco in Berlin, the Moroccan cultural week in Germany will offer a rich program through cultural, artistic, academic and economic activities, highlighted, on their part, the organizers, adding that the program also includes the organization of two conferences on "cultural diversity" and "economic development in Morocco."

This event, in collaboration with several ministries and institutions will be marked by several events dedicated to the Moroccan community in Germany, and the German public representing the political, economic and cultural spheres.

Craft exhibitions, plastic art paintings and photography, as well as the Amazigh book exhibition will be in the program in addition to a play and screening of the film "Zineb Nafzaouia" by director Farida Bourqia.

The program also includes fashion runways showcasing the Amazigh and Moroccan caftan, along with a variety of musical concerts mainly that of Gnaoua, moreover, the public will get to taste different dishes of the Moroccan cuisine.
