Moroccan Omar Channawi appointed Vice President of the "Procter and Gamble" multinational in Asia

The multinational Procter and Gamble appointed the Moroccan engineer Omar Channawi vice president of the Asia Pacific region, including among others Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam.

At 45, he was the first Moroccan to be appointed CEO of Procter & Gamble northwest Africa and is by this appointment, the first Moroccan to occupy a similar position in Asia, considered a very strategic region for the multinational.

Omar Channawi graduated from a major engineering school. He started his career at Procter & Gamble group in 1993, where he held strategic positions in several countries (Switzerland, Germany, Vietnam) and managed the portfolio of several brands across the regions of Central and Eastern Europe in addition to Africa and the Middle East.
