Paris: launch of the touristic program "Bladi F'Bali" for the benefit of overseas Moroccans.

The Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) and the Banque Populaire Group launched Saturday night in Paris, the program "Bladi F'Bali" aimed at encouraging Moroccans of the world to visit different regions of their country of origin.

This program, which is open only to Moroccans of the world clients of the Banque Populaire, is part of the strategy put in place by the ONMT for this community which counts 3.4 million people.

This program allows customers Moroccans abroad and their families to enjoy many benefits throughout the year with reductions of 30 percent in high season and 50 pc in low season from businesses classified through Morocco.

Developed with the assistance of the National Federation of the hospitality industry, "Bladi F'Bali" offer concerns 50 institutions ranging up to 5 star hotels,in many touristic cities of Morocco such as: Agadir, Casablanca, Marrakech, Al Hoceima, Asilah, Dakhla, Fez, Meknes, Ifrane, Ouarzazate, Tetouan and Safi Zagora.

This offer, valid from 2015 to 2017, will be extended to reach more cities and hotel institutions in the upcoming months.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Director General of ONMT, Abderrafie Zouiten stressed that the launch of this program is part of efforts to develop domestic tourism in Morocco, recalling further the High solicitude of HM King Mohammed VI and his care for Moroccans living abroad.

He also said that the program offers very attractive benefits to Moroccans of the world including the preferential tariffs, while allowing them to diversify the regions visited.

Mr. Zouiten has also reported that the two sides will continue to work together to offer other products to MRE including rental cars.

For his part, the president of the Banque Populaire Group, Mohamed Benchaaboun said the aim of the program is to support the tourism sector in Morocco and promote the different regions of the Kingdom, and promoting Morocco, its culture and heritage.

The "Bladi F'Bali" will combine the expertise of the Bank and the ONMT to better serve Moroccans abroad that are attached to their motherland, and will be the first step towards many actions between the two sides in the future.
