Barcelona Terror Attack: three Moroccans among the wounded

Three Moroccan nationals were wounded in Barcelona’s terror attack that took place on Thursday, according to a Moroccan consular source in the Spanish city.

A woman named Rquia Ouhou, aged 43 and resident in Spain, as well as a man named Omar El Hamzaoui and his six-year-old son, Aboubakr, who live in the French city of Montpellier and who were on holiday in Barcelona, were injured in the attack, the source added.

The three Moroccan nationals were rushed into hospitals in Barcelona where they receive the necessary health care.

The young Moroccan boy, who was mowed by the van used in the attack, is in a "very critical" condition.

Fourteen people have been killed and more than 100 wounded when a van drove though crowds on a historic promenade in Barcelona on Thursday.

Seven people were also hurt when "alleged terrorists" drove into pedestrians in the Spanish seaside resort of Cambrils early Friday before being shot dead by security forces.
